Cayuse, a global SaaS company in research administration, needed a way to bring together varying data structures created by acquisitions and a broader platform built to support the full grant lifecycle. Those differences made reporting and data-driven decision-making harder across more than 650 customers worldwide.

Working with Matillion and Data Clymer, Cayuse standardized over 20 data stores and rewrote its Report Connector application to be multi-tenant using a unified tech stack that included AWS, Snowflake, Oracle, Postgres, MS SQL, MySQL, and Elastic Search. Matillion’s low-code approach helped Cayuse increase customer satisfaction, reduce daily troubleshooting calls to virtually zero, and achieve a 50x increase in customers using Report Connector while keeping team size constant.
