Siemens Healthineers needed a more robust way to manage unstructured data, as its existing Azure Data Factory setup could not fully support the company’s data ingestion and transformation needs. The healthcare company turned to Matillion as it moved from a bare-metal IT setup to a modern, cloud-based, service-oriented infrastructure.

Siemens Healthineers migrated approximately 100 data pipelines from Azure Data Factory to Matillion and built a template pipeline that could be modified for different requirements. The result was more standardized processes, faster development, and better consistency, with test cases showing a 50% reduction in processing time and some production pipelines running faster.
