Daikin Comfort faced fragmented customer data across multiple systems (ERP, Dealer/Distributor, CRM, Warranty and Rebate Program) that hindered analytics and a single source of truth. To tackle this Customer 360 initiative, Daikin Comfort partnered with Matillion, using Matillion ETL for Snowflake to standardize and centralize customer data in the cloud.
Matillion (with implementation support from Slalom) ingested and transformed structured and semi-structured data into the Snowflake Data Cloud, building a unified source for Daikin’s MDM tool. The work produced over 120 pipelines in three months, cut data ingestion from one day to minutes, gave more than 10 teams access to a single enhanced customer record, and enabled real-time automated reporting on customer lifetime value — all accelerated by Matillion’s low-code environment and reduced IT bottlenecks.
