IDNEO Develops AUTOSAR Components Using Agile Model-Based Design

IDNEO, an automotive software engineering company, needed to develop and integrate AUTOSAR components into complex systems while reducing ambiguities, accelerating delivery, and catching defects earlier—especially when combining their work with third‑party components. To solve this, IDNEO adopted Model‑Based Design with MathWorks tools, including Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, Simulink Test, Polyspace Bug Finder, and Polyspace Code Prover.

Using MathWorks’ integrated toolchain and standardized training, IDNEO implemented model simulation, functional and formal validation, and an agile development flow that simplified AUTOSAR component integration. The approach cut development cycles (in some cases from 1 year to 6 months), enabled up to 80% of errors to be found during the design phase, and improved code quality and time‑to‑market.
