Elektrobit Testing Ltd. set out to develop Propsound™CS, a high‑resolution radio channel sounder capable of detecting propagation paths and analyzing wideband spatial and temporal channel characteristics in real time. To meet challenging timing, hardware, and postprocessing requirements, Elektrobit used MathWorks tools—including MATLAB, Simulink, DSP System Toolbox, and Signal Processing Toolbox—to model the system and build a flexible, user‑extendable analysis and visualization environment.
MathWorks’ products were used to model, simulate, and verify the channel sounder, and MATLAB was embedded as the analysis engine and real‑time visualization layer in Propsound™CS. The solution shortened time‑to‑market by about one year (saving roughly one engineer‑year), enabled immediate real‑time measurement visualization, and delivered a flexible postprocessing toolbox that customers can customize—demonstrating clear measurable impact for Elektrobit.
