A MathWorks Case Study
Bosch, the world’s largest independent automotive parts supplier, needed to speed and simplify the analysis of large, heterogeneous test-bench and vehicle measurement data. Existing spreadsheets and disparate postprocessing tools were hard to maintain, didn’t scale to growing data volumes, and produced insufficiently accurate results. To address this, Bosch worked with MathWorks and used MATLAB to build a unified analysis and visualization application called ENValyzer.
Using MathWorks’ MATLAB and toolboxes (including Signal Processing Toolbox, Parallel Computing Toolbox, and MATLAB Compiler), Bosch developed ENValyzer to import multiple data formats, apply signal‑processing and statistical analyses, produce rich visualizations and reports, and run calculations in parallel or as a standalone app. The MathWorks‑based solution cut validation cycle times by 40–50%, saved three to four months of development time, improved analysis accuracy, and is now used in production and offered commercially.
