Mather Economics used predictive analytics as a service to build a conversion model for registered non-paid users and then sent targeted email offers to those with the highest propensity to subscribe. The approach identified key conversion signals such as increased page views and more unique days on site, and it drove conversions 3X higher than a mass-marketing email campaign. Mather Economics is now extending the model to anonymous visitors behind the paywall.
