Mather Economics worked with a large broad-based business advocacy group that needed a better way to capture and analyze customer online activity and purchase behavior. The goal was to identify customer segments, improve ongoing performance reporting, and support analytics consulting with a clearer view of how members and prospects interacted with its e-commerce store and related site pages.
Using Mather Economics’ Listener digital data capture platform, the company collected online data from the California Chamber of Commerce e-commerce store and linked it to offline purchase data for a full customer view. Mather Economics delivered custom reporting and dashboards showing year-over-year revenue, new accounts, products purchased, first-time purchase trends, source and site activity before account creation, and retention by tenure cohort, helping the client better understand membership performance and revenue impact.
