Unlimited Design Freedom and Short Lead Times for Titan’s Jewelry Business

Titan Company Ltd, the maker of Tanishq, Goldplus and Zoya, needed faster, more flexible ways to produce intricate jewelry designs that were constrained by traditional casting methods. To shorten lead times and gain greater design freedom, Titan adopted Materialise’s 3D printing workflow, using Materialise Magics for data preparation and STL repair.

With Materialise Magics, Titan converts CAD to STL, fixes and smooths meshes, and prepares parts for 3D printing in hours—resin parts used for casting are ready within a few hours and finished pieces can be delivered the next day. Materialise’s solution improved STL validation, dimensional accuracy and symmetry, enabled quicker design iterations and scaling, and drastically reduced turnaround time while increasing confidence in defect-free production.
