Raging Heroes Fight Support Generation Time with Materialise e-Stage

Raging Heroes, a France-based studio that designs and sells highly detailed collectible miniatures worldwide, faced a bottleneck in their DLP stereolithography workflow: generating support structures by hand for tiny, complex sculpts took 20–60 minutes per build. To speed up production and improve finish quality, Raging Heroes turned to Materialise and its automatic support-generation software, Materialise e-Stage.

Materialise deployed e-Stage to automatically generate supports tailored for bottom-up printing (including an algorithm to counter suction forces), cutting support-generation time to under five minutes per build—an improvement of up to 92%. The lighter, better-placed supports are easier to remove, leave fewer marks, and significantly reduce post-processing time, delivering faster prototyping and cleaner masters for Raging Heroes.
