Marchesini Group, a maker of packaging machines for pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food firms, had scaled up additive manufacturing but was losing time to manual support generation and removal—especially for metal parts. With Materialise’s solution, support setup that used to take 10–30 minutes is now completed in a couple of minutes, enabling overall print throughput to increase by about 30%, improving final part quality, and allowing one software suite to streamline workflows and scale production.
