Digital Democracy launches a searchable archive of state legislative hearings with Matchfire

Digital Democracy, a first-of-its-kind platform creating a searchable archive of state legislative hearings, needed a user-friendly front-end for its powerful backend system developed by Cal Poly. The non-profit Institute for Advanced Technology and Public Policy engaged Matchfire for its expertise in user experience design to address the platform's major UX problems and create a seamless integration.

Matchfire worked closely with the Cal Poly and IATPP teams to design and develop a new front-end user experience. They established a clear visual system for organizing legislative entities, which allowed users to easily find and digest information without being overwhelmed. The solution delivered by Matchfire kept the robust platform simple and easy to use, successfully addressing the customer's challenge.
