Somerville Media, a Singapore-based full-service video production company founded by Greg Somerville, needed a faster, simpler way to transfer very large video files from shoots to a post-production team in Singapore and to clients for review. Their existing options—couriers, FTP, and other file-sharing tools—were too slow, cumbersome, and unreliable for tight deadlines across North American and European time zones.

MASV provided the solution with secure, unlimited-size cloud file transfers that recipients could access without needing an account. Somerville Media now uses MASV as its default transfer workflow for raw footage, dailies, and finished files, speeding up post-production and eliminating hard-drive shipments; in one case, about 7 terabytes of footage from 180 recordings across nearly ten countries was sent in real time, and 40 GB uploads took just minutes.
