White Bear Lake High School - Customer Case Study

White Bear Lake High School faced the challenge of establishing a new Manufacturing Career Pathway program with outdated equipment. They needed to develop a curriculum to attract students and teach them the software and hardware skills required for automated manufacturing careers. To solve this, instructor Delroy Nyren turned to the Mastercam CAD/CAM software.

Implementing Mastercam's Mill 3D, Lathe, and Multiaxis software provided an easy-to-grasp solution for students. This was part of a larger equipment upgrade funded by a $250,000 grant. The results were a fully-equipped lab that prepares students for college and employment, with industry leaders confirming the program now teaches the precise skills they need. Mastercam enabled students to begin toolpath programming and CNC machining, successfully building excitement and proficiency in advanced manufacturing.
