Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School - Customer Case Study

Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School sought to successfully integrate CAD/CAM instruction into its CADET college tech prep program to prepare students for careers in design and engineering. The school needed software that could provide a comprehensive and user-friendly introduction to CNC programming for its students. They chose the Mastercam Educational Suite to meet this challenge.

Mastercam delivered a solution that included milling, turning, and Mill-Turn capabilities in a single package. With support from Mastercam Representative FASTech Inc., the instructors were trained, enabling them to confidently teach students who now quickly progress from design to cutting parts. The results are a hands-on program where students gain real-world experience, such as profitably manufacturing products for a local vendor, and many graduates pursue engineering and design degrees. The instructors found Mastercam to be an ideal and powerful partner for CAD/CAM education.
