Hallmark Channel, part of Crown Media Family Networks and a 24‑hour destination for family‑friendly programming reaching 87 million U.S. homes, faced unreliable bandwidth, frequent network failures, high latency and poor support because its primary network provider did not offer QoS guarantees. At the time Masergy provided only backup service for two of Hallmark’s connections, but the broadcaster needed a single, more reliable vendor and stronger service assurances.
