Ancestry.com Takes its Network from the Past into the Future

Ancestry, the world’s largest online family-history resource, was struggling with an unwieldy legacy WAN of point-to-point circuits that couldn’t keep pace with rapid global growth, thousands of employees, and heavy traffic (more than 75 million searches daily and 2M+ subscribers). To gain scalability, higher availability and better support, Ancestry engaged Masergy to replace its traditional WAN with a managed hybrid MPLS network.
