EMA highlighted Martello Technologies and its Martello DEM for Microsoft 365 offering as a way to address a common challenge with Microsoft 365 and Teams: end users often experience slowdowns or failures that Microsoft’s own service status does not reveal, and users typically do not report issues until productivity is already affected. The core problem was understanding and managing the many variables between Microsoft’s cloud services and the user experience across network, infrastructure, and related Microsoft 365 services.
Martello Technologies’ solution uses Martello Gizmo, which runs synthetic transactions from user locations with rich clients to continuously test Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and network conditions such as jitter, packet loss, and MOS. This gave IT proactive visibility into end-user experience, helping identify degradation before it became a crisis, with real-time and historical dashboards and reports to support ongoing management. EMA said the approach is especially valuable in a work-from-anywhere environment, where continuous user-experience monitoring is mission-critical.
