LUSH - Customer Case Study

LUSH, the fresh and ethical beauty brand known for products like bath bombs and shampoo bars, faced growing challenges from counterfeit listings, fake “official” stores, and fraudulent websites that were hurting customer trust and brand reputation. Because many of its “naked” products lacked packaging or serial numbers, traditional enforcement methods were not always effective, making brand protection more difficult across e-commerce marketplaces.

MarqVision helped LUSH by combining Marq AI monitoring with a multi-layered enforcement strategy that used cosmetic regulation violations, copyright claims, and trademark actions to target bad actors across platforms. The result was nearly $400,000 in illegal listings removed in one month, 127 infringing listings taken down on Taobao, 15 fraudulent websites shut down, and 100% of detected fake Lush Official stores removed from Shopee.
