Mount Olivet Homes (MOH), a long-standing skilled nursing and semi-independent living campus caring for 247 residents with over 300 employees, needed a more consistent, efficient way to communicate across its two facilities. Reliant on paper bulletin boards, staff struggled to keep employees, residents and families up to date on schedules, events and daily activities.
MOH partnered with Marlin to install Electronic Communication Stations, starting in the employee break room and expanding to lobby areas—now a network of 18 screens—so staff can schedule and target content to employees, residents and visitors. The digital system centralized information, eliminated paper postings, saved staff hours (especially therapeutic recreation specialists), and improved employee communication and family engagement around events and daily schedules.
