EMC Mechanical Services is a 175-employee, full-service mechanical contractor with construction, service and fabrication divisions that build and maintain K–12, higher education, office and hospital facilities. With safety as a top priority, EMC’s safety committee found traditional emails, letters and verbal briefings weren’t consistently raising awareness on key issues like vehicle safety, PPE use and jobsite conditions.

EMC partnered with Marlin to install three Electronic Communication Stations (ECS) across their sites and uses rotating safety videos and templated content—managed centrally—to share alerts, commendations, project news and visitor welcomes. The screens deliver faster, more engaging communication, boost morale and safety awareness, and demonstrate proactive safety practices that stakeholders and contractors notice during prequalification.
