Aetna implemented a MarkLogic-based Operational Data Hub—covering data integration, an operational data warehouse, mainframe migration, Customer 360 and tiered storage—and delivered the line of business in nine months. The platform enabled real-time batch integration and search, data decoupling and reuse, canonical-model agility with ACID compliance, semantic enrichment of provider data, reduced hardware/software costs, and full data lineage and traceability.
