Revival Electric Vehicles cuts spline adapter lead time to a week with Markforged

Revival Electric Vehicles, an automotive engineering firm, faced manufacturing challenges with the complex and tight-toleranced spline shaft adapter required for their electric vehicle conversion kits. They sought assistance from Bremar, a design firm that utilized its Markforged industrial 3D printers, including the Metal X, to address this problem.

By using Markforged to 3D print the final adapter in 17-4 PH Stainless Steel, the solution was achieved in a fraction of the time and cost of conventional methods. The result was a high-quality part that worked on the first try and cost less than half of the $1,500 quoted for traditional manufacturing, enabling Revival to confidently move forward with their proof-of-concept vehicle.
