Farason Corporation produces 80+ custom package containers with Markforged

Farason Corporation, a custom automation and robotics systems designer, faced a challenge creating a novel small package container for a snack food company's cheeseball products. Conventional solutions had failed due to the product's unique nature, and the initial concept was difficult to prove. The vendor, Markforged, provided a solution using their X7 3D printer and Onyx material to affordably prototype and produce the custom containers in-house.

Using Markforged's additive manufacturing technology, Farason was able to rapidly prototype and then produce over 80 strong, production-ready containers. This approach allowed them to win the contract by staying within a tight fabrication budget and to continue optimizing the design. The solution from Markforged enabled efficient in-house concepting and reduced reliance on expensive external fabrication services.
