In 2017, major Australian retailer MYER partnered with Marketplacer to launch a new online marketplace. The challenge was to broaden their product assortment beyond their traditional e-commerce site in a cost-effective, low-risk way. They needed a solution that could seamlessly integrate a wide array of third-party sellers without the technical limitations of their existing platform.

Marketplacer provided its marketplace platform, utilizing a 'headless' operation for a quick and frictionless migration. This solution integrated seamlessly with MYER's main website, myer.com.au, giving customers a single, unified shopping experience. The results were significant, providing access to 75 retailers and over 60,000 products, attracting more than four million monthly visitors, and offering a low-cost alternative to physical expansion. Marketplacer enabled MYER to easily test new product categories and increase customer loyalty through its Myer One program.
