MedCart, a pharmaceutical and PPE marketplace launched in June 2021, needed a fast way to connect healthcare providers with reliable suppliers during the pandemic. The team faced the challenge of helping hospitals and care workers source quality-approved PPE from multiple manufacturers while also making it easier for suppliers to reach new customers across Australia.

Marketplacer provided the marketplace platform that powered MedCart’s portal, enabling product listings, search, payments, and fulfillment without suppliers needing to build their own websites. With Marketplacer, MedCart grew to more than 2,200 items from 60+ suppliers and over 10,000 customers, with orders increasing 62% per month on average and November 2021 revenue up 284% from the previous month.
