Southern Oklahoma Tech, a technical school serving more than 1,500 students weekly, faced an entirely analog foodservice operation that forced staff to waste time scrolling for recipes and doing manual inventory. To solve this, they implemented MarketMan’s digital inventory and accounting software—using features like Subrecipes, vendor price checks and Square integration—to build recipes, track waste and streamline ordering.
MarketMan replaced days of manual work with automated inventory and frontline tablets, cutting inventory time from three–four days to about 30 minutes and delivering a 90% total task reduction; MarketMan also helped lower annual COGS by roughly 5%. Those efficiencies reduced food waste, enabled smarter supplier ordering and allowed Southern Oklahoma Tech to pass savings on to students.
