HomeServe, the UK home assistance company providing services such as plumbing, drainage, locksmith, and boiler repair, wanted to uncover better savings opportunities across its procurement spend. To support this goal, HomeServe worked with Market Dojo and implemented its cloud-based eAuction platform to bring more structure and competition into sourcing.
Using Market Dojo’s eSourcing and reverse auction tools, HomeServe ran ranked auctions for envelopes and Japanese auctions for subcontracted services across multiple regions and suppliers. The approach delivered £1.9 million in identified savings, including £500k on envelopes and £1.4m on subcontracted services, while also reducing negotiation cycles from weeks or months to just hours.
