How Louisiana State Police Used Mark43 OnScene to Power Safer, Smarter Policing at Mardi Gras and Super Bowl LIX

Louisiana State Police (LSP) needed a modern way to improve situational awareness, coordination, and officer safety during large-scale, high-pressure deployments like Mardi Gras and Super Bowl LIX. After moving beyond a paper-based process, LSP turned to Mark43 and its cloud-native public safety platform to support more than 1,200 sworn troopers across the state.

Mark43 implemented OnScene, a mobile app that gives troopers real-time CAD/RMS access, GPS tracking, mapping, and mobile report writing from the field. The result was faster response times, better resource allocation, improved collaboration across units, and stronger officer safety—while reducing report downtime that could take officers off the street for up to three hours after an arrest.
