The Scottsdale Police Department Leverages Next Generation Technology to Enhance Crime Prevention

The Scottsdale Police Department, which serves more than 245,000 residents and manages major national events, faced an aging records management system that created data silos, reporting errors, investigative delays, and officer overtime. To modernize operations and enable mobile, interoperable workflows, the department partnered with Mark43 and sought a cloud-native RMS that could integrate with existing and future technologies.

In November 2022 Scottsdale PD deployed Mark43 RMS and later added Mark43 Analytics and a Mark43-built Jail Management System (JMS). Mark43’s open API and cloud-native platform enabled seamless integration across a 130+ partner ecosystem, delivered real-time, clean data for the Real Time Crime Center, native NIBRS compliance, and AWS GovCloud-level security—resulting in faster, higher-quality report writing, improved officer situational awareness and mobility, better cross-jurisdictional data sharing, and reduced administrative risk.
