Jydsk Aluminium Industri, a Scandinavian chill casting foundry with strong export growth, needed better control over production and administrative data as it scaled from handwritten time notes to a more automated operation. Working with Mark Information, the company looked for a way to improve time registration, data quality, and real-time visibility into jobs, costs, and planning.

Mark Information implemented ProMark for electronic time and job registration, integrated with JAI’s payroll, ERP, and data warehouse systems. The result was significantly better time-registration quality, fewer payroll queries and mistakes, and real-time planning instead of a one-day delay in production data. JAI also expanded from 150 to 270 employees without adding extra administrative staff, while gaining a more accurate view of order costs and stronger support for efficiency improvements.
