Evrensel, a 25-year Turkish daily, faced the challenge of modernizing its web presence without alienating loyal readers: they needed faster mobile performance, AMP presence, and improved engagement while preserving their brand. To do this they partnered with Marfeel and adopted the Marfeel mobile platform — an ultralight PWA combined with AMP and other mobile-first features.

Marfeel implemented a fast PWA with service workers, limited third‑party JavaScript, AMP pages, push notifications, a CMP, and AI-powered monetization with server-side header bidding; the change (activated July 2020) produced immediate gains. According to Marfeel, Evrensel saw +51% pages per visit, +45% average session time, a −24% bounce rate, and +25% average revenue per user.
