Euronews, a multinational news broadcaster with 15 websites and 4 apps reaching 67.8 million people monthly, needed a sophisticated monetization suite but lacked the internal resources to build one. They engaged Marfeel to increase programmatic revenue for their mobile sites while preserving an organic, app-like user experience, starting with arabic.euronews.com.

Marfeel implemented a lightweight, app-like mobile website and proprietary monetization technology — including video player integration, analytics widgets, dynamic ad insertion and a Progressive Web App framework — to speed up load times and optimize ad yield. As a result, Marfeel drove a 207% increase in programmatic revenues (May 2018–May 2019), plus a 69% rise in pages per session, 28% longer average session time, a 38% drop in bounce rate and an 18% increase in total sessions, and the solution is now being rolled out to Euronews’ Spanish, Italian and German mobile sites.
