GizChina, a leading mobile technology publisher with about 3 million monthly visitors, faced a slow mobile site and limited tools to monetize mobile traffic without distracting its editorial team. To solve this, GizChina partnered with Marfeel to modernize its mobile experience and ad stack using Marfeel’s PWA and monetization services.
Marfeel rebuilt GizChina’s mobile site as a high‑speed PWA, activated a 51‑PoP CDN, fixed structured data and AMP, and integrated a programmatic platform with server‑to‑server header‑bidding. The results were dramatic: Google PageSpeed jumped from 9 to 80, pageviews per visit +76%, average session duration +65%, bounce rate −34% and average revenue per user +50%—with Black Friday (Nov 2019) spikes showing visits/day +204%, eCPMs +311% and ARPU up to +387% under Marfeel’s platform.
