National Security and Economic Trade Association, a national industry association, turned to Marcum LLP when its accounting operations had become outdated and difficult to manage amid staff turnover. Although the books appeared fine externally, the organization needed modernized systems, stronger internal controls, cleaner audits, and better support for its 501(c)(6) association and 501(c)(3) foundation.
