Isanti County, a growing county in east central Minnesota, faced challenges with aging standalone servers that were slow, inefficient, and difficult to manage individually. Their Network Operations Manager, Travis Marttila, contacted Marco Technologies for an upgrade to improve speed and performance.

Marco Technologies provided a solution using UCS blade server technology and an EMC storage system. This integrated approach allowed all servers to reside in one place, making management far more efficient for the county. The new servers exceeded expectations, leading Isanti County to also use Marco for a new firewall implementation. The customer was extremely satisfied, stating it was the best solution for them and that they plan to keep using Marco.
