Portsmouth Economic Development launches two websites with Marathon Consulting

Portsmouth Economic Development, a city economic development organization, faced the challenge of an outdated website with a poor user experience and a complex backend that hindered their goal of supporting business growth. Marathon Consulting implemented a solution using the Umbraco CMS multi-site feature, allowing both the main economic development site and the new Portsmouth@Work site to be managed from a single backend. The vendor delivered two modern, ADA-compliant websites with custom features, responsive design, and a streamlined content management system. The result was an elevated digital platform that met the aggressive launch timeline and received high praise from the customer for the collaborative process and final product.
