Fancy Farm Popcorn - Customer Case Study

Fancy Farm Popcorn, a family-owned popcorn manufacturer in Bernie, Missouri, needed to scale up while maintaining strict food safety and inventory control. To support growth into private label and larger customer opportunities, they needed a food manufacturing software solution with automatic lot management, traceability, barcode-friendly warehouse operations, and QuickBooks integration. Mar-Kov Computer Systems was selected to meet these requirements.

Mar-Kov Computer Systems implemented a hosted system over several months, customizing it to Fancy Farm Popcorn’s processes for lot traceability, lot testing, inventory control, and production tracking. The results included seamless QuickBooks integration, monthly matching of COGS, sales, and inventory, and improved accuracy across the plant. After going live, Fancy Farm Popcorn passed its next two food safety audits with excellent scores and gained immediate end-to-end lot traceability from warehouse to source crop field.
