BeaverTails Cuts Booking Errors to 1% and Simplifies Franchise Management with Mapsly

BeaverTails, a Canadian dessert franchise, faced significant challenges in managing its complex network of 90 franchisees and food truck bookings. Their process was hampered by outdated, hand-drawn JPEG maps for territories, which led to errors and inefficiencies in routing customer requests and managing exclusive franchise zones. To address this, they turned to the vendor Mapsly and its territory management and automation services.

Mapsly provided a centralized, interactive map integrated with Zoho CRM, allowing BeaverTails to design and manage all franchise territories in-house. The solution automated the food truck booking process by using customer postal codes to instantly route requests to the correct operator. This implementation by Mapsly drastically cut booking errors to less than 1%, identified 4% of requests as outside any territory, and reduced duplicate submissions by 7%, streamlining nationwide operations for the lean team.
