Simon Property Group, a global leader in retail real estate, faced a major pain point: mall maps were hard to keep up to date, so shoppers couldn’t reliably find stores or amenities. To provide a seamless, branded wayfinding experience and an easy way to manage frequent tenant and layout changes, Simon partnered with Mappedin to deploy a fully integrated mapping and content management solution (including Smart Search, vector/3D maps, navigation and reporting).

Mappedin rolled out its solution to more than 200 Simon mall locations, integrating its CMS with Simon’s central systems, adding intuitive search and turn-by-turn navigation, and delivering visual, brand‑aware maps and analytics. The implementation made map updates simple, improved discoverability and in‑mall navigation, provided actionable shopper insights, and drove strong adoption—consumer feedback exceeded expectations and usage levels were well above targets.
