How Simon Creates Personalized Shopping Experiences

Simon, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment, and mixed‑use destinations, set out to redesign and rebuild the Simon Mobile App to deliver a high‑end, consistent shopping experience across iOS and Android. To enable rich digital mapping and wayfinding for shoppers across their portfolio, Simon engaged Mappedin and leveraged Mappedin’s mapping platform and CMS to replicate the look and feel they already used on web and digital directories.

Mappedin implemented its React Native SDK to integrate interactive maps, A‑B wayfinding, smart search, mini maps, customizable location details and accessibility routing across 200 Simon shopping centres. The result: a single React Native app supporting iOS and Android, searchable maps and turn‑by‑turn directions for shoppers, and the ability for Simon to update maps once in Mappedin CMS and push changes live across all solutions—successfully integrating maps for 200 centres and delivering a consistent, time‑saving mapping experience.
