The Hospital for Special Surgeries (HSS) partnered with the vendor Mapos to create a collaborative workspace for its data analytics team. Their challenge was to design a welcoming center, called CAMP, that would serve as a counterpoint to the typical sterile hospital environment and facilitate workshops with medical practitioners to improve patient outcomes.

Mapos designed a diverse collection of warm, tech-integrated spaces for HSS, including private offices and an immersive Data 360 room. They incorporated award-winning interactive visualizations and integrated display technologies into environments with soft lighting and comfortable furniture to make the space inviting. The solution successfully created a forward-thinking hub that beckons inquiry and signals the future of healthcare collaboration.
