Educational Authority of Eastern France deploys several hundred MapleSim licenses with Maplesoft

The Educational Authority of Eastern France, a school board, faced the challenge of reforming its technical high school programs (STI2D) by integrating design and development software tools to better prepare students for higher education in engineering. They selected MapleSim from Maplesoft as their high-performance physical modeling and simulation solution to meet this new requirement.

Maplesoft implemented MapleSim, which provided an intuitive interface and integrated multi-domain modeling capabilities, eliminating the need for extra toolboxes. The solution included comprehensive technical support and training for educators, who developed application models like a solar-powered gate. The results included rapid adoption across most schools in the region, with several hundred licenses deployed, and the establishment of a foundation for sharing models across France to support different educational streams.
