Danish Teacher Uses Maple to Enhance Education for High School and University Students

Elsinore High School in Denmark needed a way to help students better understand core math concepts and prepare for university and future careers. Working with Maplesoft, the school adopted Maple as a key teaching and learning tool for mathematics education.

Maplesoft’s Maple was used for homework, exams, note-taking, lecture files, and classroom demonstrations, with students able to install it on their own computers and use it at school and at home. The result was strong student satisfaction, greater confidence in math, and better preparation for university-level courses, while Maplesoft also supported a math competition that awarded winners a free copy of Maple.
