Embutidos Monells digitizes data capture in the plant with the Mapex MES system

Embutidos Monells, a family-owned meat processing company, sought to advance its digital transformation by implementing a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to digitize data capture, eliminate labeling errors, and gain real-time production insights. To achieve this, they selected the MES system from vendor Mapex.

Mapex implemented its Production and Maintenance modules, beginning with a successful pilot in 2015. The solution provided real-time visibility into key performance indicators like OEE and MTBF, centralized factory information, and enabled faster, data-driven decision-making. The vendor's flexibility and rapid adaptation to the meat sector's needs were crucial to the project's success, leading to a high degree of customer satisfaction and plans for further expansion of the Mapex platform.
