Case Study: Aciturri improves OEE and paperless production with Mapex MES

Aciturri implements the Mapex solution as part of its digitalization and Industry 4.0 process

Aciturri, a leading Spanish manufacturer of aeronautical structures and engine components, sought to digitally transform its operations. The company required a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to capture real-time OEE, unify data from the shop floor, and eliminate its reliance on paper-based processes for maintenance and quality control. They selected the MES system from Mapex to achieve these goals.

Mapex implemented its out-of-the-box MES solution across multiple Aciturri production plants. The platform digitized quality controls and maintenance management, providing reliable, real-time data that enabled significant operational improvements. As a result of using Mapex, Aciturri increased the OEE of a group of machines by 10 points and has made substantial progress toward its paperless and Industry 4.0 objectives.
