Conestoga Ethanol Arkalon (Conestoga), a 110‑million‑gallon‑per‑year ethanol plant in Liberal, Kansas, faced the challenge of planning and executing annual multi‑day shutdowns for repairs, replacements and inspections without incurring excessive downtime or parts shortages.
