Qyer is a China-based travel app used by 100 million people to share and explore travel experiences. As the volume of content grew to more than three million new travel logs and place write-ups each month, Qyer needed a better way for users to browse destinations, track adventures, and connect with potential travel partners using Mapbox-powered maps.

Mapbox helped Qyer create its Footprint Map on iOS and Android, which visually chronicles users’ journeys by lighting up countries they’ve visited and showing photos and updates from each location. The result is a more engaging travel experience that encourages discovery and sharing across Qyer’s huge community of 100 million users.
