Jaguar Land Rover MENA needed a way to support off-road drivers exploring remote terrain with tools for route planning, trail discovery, and reliable navigation when connectivity is limited. Using Mapbox, the company built the Ardhi app for adventure drivers to join a community, share routes and photos, and navigate challenging trails with offline maps.

Mapbox helped power detailed outdoor mapping in the Ardhi app, including terrain, elevation, and land type overlays to help drivers prepare for each route. The solution also enabled offline navigation and a location-sharing “digital flare” for getting help when drivers get stuck, improving safety and connectivity for off-road users.
