Food Union, the largest ice cream delivery service in Northern Europe, wanted to modernize its on-demand delivery experience so customers could text for a drop-off, see available trucks, and choose a delivery window. To help drivers reliably reach planned stops, Food Union turned to Mapbox and its Navigation SDK.

Mapbox implemented the Navigation SDK with routing and turn-by-turn guidance in the driver app, supported by accurate street data in Denmark and Norway. The result was a major operational improvement: drivers’ success rate for requested stops increased from 40% to 90%, more than doubling performance for Food Union.
